Work from home online, offline? It is a big ask whichever way you want to do it, but you know what, it is achievable, and fun, and rewarding, just the save on gas bills is a bonus!
I have personally worked form home for almost 5 years now, and apart from the 3.30pm dread when the kids come home and the knowledge that the house is going to be a cauldron of noise and fun, if you take the time to do the 99%, everything else works.
Dont get me wrong, the feeling of camaraderie when you are in an office environment is fantastic, feeding of your colleagues, being driven by your competition etc, however, if you have spent 2 hours getting there and knowing you have 2 hours back, then always in the back of your mind these 4 hours of wasted time play on your emotions.
We are in the information age and as such, doing what we do, or what you would like to do is wanted, almost needed by the rest of the community, and that community is growing, latest figures 1,668,870,408 and growing, check out www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm if for some strange reason you dont believe me.
Many people will try and sell you a product, a package which will lead to millions in the bank with no work from you. I know and believe that these dont work, you must be willing to put in the effort equivalent to most start up businesses. I did 15 to 20 hours a week on top of your normal routine.
Your see there is so much that you can set up and monitor, but as apposed to normal businesses, once you have done the hard work, then the systems will keep going, you need to go back and Tweak, Enhance, Test... Once, twice, even three times a day, what you have set up, but the systems are in place..
An age old phrase, 'it is not rocket science', well friends, it is not. Much of the science is repetitive, to be honest if it is not broken dont fix it, well that is true with this industry.
The systems which you put in place are your sources of income, multiple sources of income, it is much better to spread your net as wide as possible, unless you want to concentrate on your favorite niche, however even if you choose just one niche, vary your approach add options and offers to your niche. As I said there is so much to think about that your head can sometimes spin, but it spins in a nice exciting way. I have herd people say that they can't sleep at night because they are so excited about the business, this is a nice place to be....
I found that mentoring helped me in many ways, just having somebody who makes you realise that there is a community out there, you don't have to be on your own, I think it would work for you also, check out www.beyourtrueself.weebly.com on offer is something which will help you get started for no money down, and give you a person to contact and a product to sell in a big money niche market.
Enough for now, please leave your comments and take a look over at my friend Shaun, learnfinancialplanning.com/make-money-online.
